Creative morning

Big E has been creative this morning.  She made me this little paper plate bird.

It is amazing the enjoyment children get from playing with a few items and some glue.

Hot

Another hot day here for us.  The past few days have been hot, and thanks to a bush fire, smokey. 

We have all been so busy, these past couple of months, nothing much has been happening on the craft front.  We hope to get our crafting mojo back soon.

Isn't it amazing how quickly this year is going, so much has happened already, its hard to stop and catch a breath.  Tomorrow will be March and I am still trying to get myself organised for the year.  I think I will just give up and go with the flow.

Back Again

What a Christmas break we all had.  With rain, floods and isolation, it has been a very interesting break, but we are all excited and ready to start the new year off with lots of fresh ideas for kits.   Lisa's internet has been down and is still down and so i have taken over the task of blogging.  Hopefully i will manage to update our blog at least twice a week.

Slow down.

So Christmas is almost here.  Michelle is away for Christmas, Merilee is stuck on the other side of the river, thanks to a flooded river, and I am stuck at home, thanks to all the rain.

Over Christmas we are going to have a bit of a break and have some go slow time.  This year has been hectic with lots of new things going on and adjustments to be made.

Michelle and Merille are going to be going to 2 markets while away, Mt Tamborine and Beaudesert markets, after that we having some much needed R&R, so we are ready for next year.

Getting ready for Christmas

Its been a wet week and Big E was stuck home from school, so to try and keep her busy, we started on some christmas craft.

I had forgotten how easy it was to make the paper chains and laterns.  The children had a great time, and it managed to keep them amused for at least half an hour.  My children have short attention spans.
